Philosophy
Breath control and the concept of "musical declamation" are the two central pillars of my teaching. I pass on to young singers and professionals these fundamentals, which build confidence and provide real technical independence.
After 18 years of experience, I can now see the long-term effects of what I have been able to pass on. Reducing the voice's function to sound production alone is dangerous. Technical research and muscular development are essential, but meaning must remain at the heart of this journey.
The lyric artist must become a performer. How do you bring together voice and theater? How should I use my voice across different repertoires — styles, periods, composers, languages, vocalise arias, bel canto arias...?
