The soloists are skillfully directed and shine with their vocal and dramatic commitment. Gabrielle Philiponet delivers a moving performance as Mimì, her warm and expressive voice lending a particular intensity to Mi chiamano Mimì and the final Sono andati ? which brings tears to the eyes of a captivated audience.
