Gabrielle Philiponet's signature roles span the heart of the French and Italian repertoire — Verdi's tragic Violetta in La Traviata, Puccini's tender Mimì in La Bohème, and Mozart's Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Equally at home in French opera, she has brought to life Marguerite in Gounod's Faust, the title role of Mireille, and — more recently — the title role of Charpentier's Louise and the scheming Alice Ford in Verdi's Falstaff.
